Eminem and Dr Dre announced as part of five acts for epic Super Bowl half time show
The acts for next year’s Super Bowl half time show have been announced and it’s set to be the biggest spectacle ever seen at the event.
The huge event is the first time the five acts have ever performed on the same stage.
Between them they have a mammoth 19 Billboard-topping albums and an incredible 43 Grammy awards.
The event will take place at SoFi Stadium and marks the first time in nearly 30 years that the Super Bowl will be held in the greater Los Angeles area.
For Dre, Snoop and Kendrick, it’s the perfect location for them to perform on the big stage as they were all born and raised in the city of angels.
Jay-Z is reported to have played a big part in bringing the acts together for the spectacle and called it “history in the making”.
The announcement said the show will be “12 minutes of unforgettable greatness” and is expected to break all kinds of viewing records.
Last year’s show, which saw The Weeknd perform in Tampa Bay, saw almost 100 million people tune in.
Dre took to social media shortly after the announcement to say it will “introduce the next saga of my career.
He wrote on Twitter : “I’m extremely excited to share the stage with my friends for the #PepsiHalftime Show. This will introduce the next saga of my career… Bigger and Better than Ever!!!”

Fans were amazed by the line-up and quickly took to Twitter as well to showcase their excitement.
One fan wrote: “It’s going to be Epic.”
Another penned: “Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Mary J Blige performing at the next Super Bowl is going to be historic.”
And a third said: “We got our Super Bowl halftime show. Let’s go! Dr. Dre, Snoop, Kendrick, Mary J Blige, Eminem.

The event has had many historical moments over the years. In 2004, it was the location for the infamous Rock Your Body which brought about “nipplegate”.
During the set, Justin Timberlake inadvertently ripped Janet Jackson’s top and exposed her breast for a split second.
It was also the home of Prince in 2007 as the rain poured down on the iconic singer who closed the set with Purple Rain.
The performance of the song has gone on to be ranked as one of his greatest live performances of his huge hit.
