Katie Price’s son Harvey ‘inconsolable’ when he couldn’t reach mum for days before arrest

Katie Price’ s teenage son Harvey was ‘inconsolable’ after he was unable to get in contact with his mum before for drink-driving arrest, a source has claimed.

The former glamour model, 43 – who shares Harvey with ex-boyfriend Dwight Yorke – has pleaded guilty to drink driving, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance following a crash near her home in Sussex on Tuesday.

The mum-of-five was involved in a single-car collision that left her BMW flipped on its side on the B2135 near Partridge Green.

And days before her crash, Harvey – who lives with Prader-Willi syndrome, septo-optic dysplasia, autism and a learning disability – was distraught after being unable to contact his mum.

Lifting the lid on Harvey’s heartache, a source exclusively told The Mirror that Katie’s entire family started to become worried when her son couldn’t get through to her on FaceTime.

“Poor Harvey had been trying to FaceTime her all week and she was nowhere to be seen,” the insider said.

“He was inconsolable – it made her family really sit and think something was really wrong.”

Katie pleaded guilty to all the driving offences, and on Wednesday, she told courts that she will be checking into rehab amid her drug and alcohol problems.

The former glamour model will be enrolling on a programme at The Priory rehab centre for treatment in order to seek help in battling her addiction issues under the supervision of professionals.

It will not be the first time that Katie has had a stint at the facility as she checked into rehab in September 2018 in order to tackle her drug issues.

She spent 28 days in the facility after deciding to receive professional help after depending on cocaine to numb the pain of her problems.

Katie will now miss Harvey’s talent show after being ordered to go to seek help in rehab.

The star had been due to attend the Autism’s Got Talent Roadshow online event on October 2 but will be in rehab instead.

Both Katie and Harvey, 19 are anti-bullying ambassadors for the autism charity.

Katie is due to be sentenced on December 15.

The Mirror have reached out to Katie Price’s representatives for further comment on this story.
